The most influential person in my baseball life: Both of my parents, Roger and Jennifer Penner.

Most influential person in my baseball life besides my parents: (UBC coach): “Chris Pritchett. Pritch knows so much about the game, especially hitting. He was always sharing knowledge with me to help me approach hitting in different ways that worked for me. However, the main reason why Pritch has such a great influence was because of how much he cared about me as a person and a player, and how much time he was willing to invest to help me reach my goals. He spent countless hours helping me fine tune my swing into something that worked and was comfortable, and ultimately prepared me (as a person and a player) for a professional career.”
