Seoul, Korea — All games scheduled for Day 1 of the IBAF 18U World Championship, including Canada against Panama, have been cancelled due to heavy rain in the Seoul region.

The cancelled games will be played on September 4 which was originally supposed to be an off-day for all teams.

Canada will now open the tournament Friday against Japan at 1 am ET (2pm local time).
