LHP James Paxton lifted the hopes of Seattle Mariners fans this spring in Arizona.

And once the season began, Paxton (Ladner, BC) didn’t disappoint.

And on April 11 me made his second start of the week in a 2-1 victory over the Tennessee Smokies, pitching 4 2/3 innings and getting a no decision.  In that game he gave up one earned run striking out seven batters.
