Right-hander Scott Richmond had an excellent outing in a 9-0 victory over Salt Lake City Bees May 26.
For Richmond it was his fourth win of the season at triple-A Las Vegas.
And for Richmond it was the best outing of the week, enough to earn the Player of the Week honours as the best of the 67 Canadians in the minors.
Richmond (North Vancouver, BC) pitched eight scoreless allowin three hits, two walks and fanning four.
His overall record is now 4-3 with a 5.52 ERA.

Working out of the bullpen for the class-A Lansing Lugnuts made two appearances this week. On May 25th in a 8-7 victory over the Dayton Dragons, he worked three strong innings, gave up only two hits and one earned run, picking up his second win of the year. On May 29th he pitched one inning in a 10-9 win over Lake County Captains. He allowed three hits and two runs, but was not involved in the decision. His over-all record with the Lugnuts now stands at 2-0 with a 3.60 ERA.
