Another excellent start for Paxton on June 16th, when he beat Quad Cities River Bandits 5-1. He threw 6 and 1/3 innings, giving up four hits and one earned run, while striking out a season high 13 batters. Thus far Paxton has struck out 73 Midwest League hitters in only 50 innings pitched. His overall record with the Lumberkings improved to 3-3 with a 2.70 ERA.

Continuing his very consistent performance, Magnuson made two more relief appearances for Sacremento.  On June 18th, pitched one inning in a 3-0 loss to Fresno Grizzlies, giving up one hit, no runs while striking out two batters. On June 21st, he pitched 2 innings in a 4-3 win over Tucson Padres, surrendering no hits, no runs and struck out two, picking up his third win of the season. Overall his record with the River Cats is now 3-2, four saves with a 2.12 ERA.

Two more solid outings in relief for the Ft. Myers reliever, on June 20th he threw one inning in 6-3 win over Palm Beach Cardinals, giving up two hits and zero runs, picking up his 4th win of the season. On June 22nd, he pitched two innings giving up one hit, zero runs and struck out two, but was not involved in the decision. A mainstay in the Miracles bullpen, his overall record is now 4-1, with one save with a 1.64 ERA.
