Yerzy, Van Rycheghem, Balazovic at PG National Showcase

C Andrew Yerzy (Toronto, Ont.) of the Toronto Mets was at the Perfect Game USA National Showcase in Fort Myers, Fla.

C Andrew Yerzy of the Toronto Mets was one of three Canadians at the Perfect Game USA National Showcase.

Besides Yerzy (Toronto, Ont.), C Luke Van Rycheghem (Kent Bridge, Ont.) and RHP Jordan Balazovic (Mississauga, Ont.) also attended the event which kicks off the 2016 draft season at Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers, Fla.

Yerzy and Van Rycheghem were with Texas Orange team, while Balazovic was with the Gold team. 

None made the National Showcase list of top 112 prospects led by LHP Jason Groome, of Barnegat, NJ, RHP Kevin Gowdy of Santa Barbara, Calif. and RHP Riley Pint of Lenexa, Kan.
