Catching Up on Minor League Transactions

If you haven’t guessed, I’ve been on the road lately. While it’s great for my real career as a musician, it’s sometimes tough to get consistent WiFi. Hence the five-day gap in minor league reports. Now that I’m somewhere that I can get my beloved WiFi time in, I can catch up on the minor league transactions that I’ve missed.

Buffalo Bisons
June 26: The Blue Jays assigned Miguel Castro to the Dunedin Blue Jays. Munenori Kawasaki was optioned to the Buffalo Bisons.

June 27: Rob Rasmussen was assigned to Buffalo and Matt Boyd was promoted to Toronto.

June 28: Right-handed reliever Blake McFarland was promoted from New Hampshire to Buffalo and lefty Colt Hynes was sent down to New Hampshire from Buffalo.

June 29: Right-handed reliever Bobby Korecky was put on the 7-day DL.

June 30: LHP Wilton Lopez was released.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats
June 26: Righty Arik Sikula was assigned to Dunedin.

June 28: Blake McFarland was promoted to Buffalo and Colt Hynes was demoted from Buffalo.

Dunedin Blue Jays
June 26: Righty Phil Kish was placed on the DL. Miguel Castro and Arik Sikula were both assigned to the D-Jays.

June 28: RHP Chase De Jong was placed on the 7-day DL and Brad Allen was activated off the DL.

Lansing Lugnuts
June 26: OF Josh Almonte was placed on the DL.

June 29: IF Gunnar Heidt was sent down to Vancouver and IF Christian Vazquez was promoted to Lansing.

Vancouver Canadians
June 29: IF Gunnar Heidt was demoted to Vancouver and Christian Vazquez was promoted to Lansing.

July 1: IF Carl Wise and Connor Panas were assigned to the Vancouver Canadians.

Bluefield Blue Jays
July 1: IF Carl Wise was promoted to Vancouver.

GCL Blue Jays
July 1: Connor Panas was assigned to Vancouver.

DSL Blue Jays
