Wilson Earns Bush Award
Jack Wilson was given the Carmen Bush Signature Club Award at the 97th annual Toronto Baseball Association meeting. Wilson has been a coach, manager and/or administrator for 62 years beginning with Parkdale Lions in 1946. He began his involvement with the High Park Little League from its inception in 1952 and took a High Park team to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. in 1960.
Wilson was the prime force in extending the High Park program through to junior age. His teams won 11 TBA championships, 2 Ontario championships and twice represented Ontario at nationals, winning the bronze medal in 1990.
