Lansing Lugnuts 5, Dayton Dragons 6
The Lugnuts got off to a great start, scoring five runs in the first four innings but couldn’t add any as Dayton kept chipping away, eventually winning in a walk off in the bottom of the 10th inning. Starter Chase De Jong was cruising through the first four innings, having allowed just one run but two runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings followed and he finished with a line of six innings pitched with five runs allowed on eight hits (including a home run) and one walk with four strikeouts. Starlyn Suriel took the loss, giving up a run in the 10th inning after throwing three strong frames with three strikeouts.

Ryan McBroom was the performer of the day on the offense, going 5/5 with five singles and three RBI. Richard Urena continues to be hot, going 3/4 with and RBI, a walk and two runs scored.
