The Toronto Blue Jays' affiliates went 3-3 with wins from Buffalo, Vancouver and New Hampshire.

Buffalo Bisons 11, Louisville Bats (CIN) 8

The triple-A Buffalo Bisons battered the Bats' pitching while the Bats' bats were bountiful but not quite enough to beat the Bisons as The Herd won 11-8.

The Bisons rapped out 17 hits, getting three hits apiece from Roemon Fields (3/5, 2B, RBI, R, SB), Jordan Patterson (3/4, 3 R), Richard Urena (3/4, 2B, BB, RBI, 2 R) and Socrates Brito (3/5, BB, RBI, R). Jonathan Davis was 2/5 with a double, an RBI and two runs while Andy Burns was 2/6. Alen Hansen had only one hit, going 1/5 with a three-run home run and four RBI. Billy McKinney was 0/4 with a walk, a sac fly, an RBI and a run.

Conor Fisk started, going 3 1/3 innings and giving up two runs on four hits (including a home run) with one strikeout before turning things over to Tayler Saucedo who gave up an unearned run on three hits and a walk with four strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings, earning the win. Dusty Isaacs was tagged for five runs, giving up five hits (including a home run) and a walk while Zach Jackson allowed one of two inherited runners to score, walking two and striking out three over 1 1/3 innings. Buddy Boshers struck out thre side in the ninth to earn the save.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7, Richmond Flying Squirrels (SF) 6

The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats got another terrific (but brief) outing from Nate Pearson and hung on to beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels 7-6.

Pearson had one of his two-inning starts, retiring all six batters he faced and struck out three. Willy Ortiz ran into trouble, giving up five runs on five hits (including a home run) and four walks with two strikeouts in four innings. Dany Jimenez allowed a hit and a walk in two innings, striking out three and Jackson McClelland left the bases loaded in the top of the ninth, walking two batters and giving up a hit before he could get an out. Bryan Baker came on with the bases loaded, allowing one of three inherited runners to score but got out of the inning with the lead intact, earning the save.

Forrest Wall led off the game with a home run and added a double later on, going 2/5 with an RBI and three runs. Vinny Capra had a pair of singles, scoring once and Brock Lundquist drove in two rungs, going 1/4 with a double. Josh Palacios was 1/4 with a double, an RBI, a run and a stolen base and Nash Knight was 1/5 with a double and an RBI. Santiago Espinal, Christian Williams and Alberto Mineo were all 1/4 with Espinal and Mineo both driving in a run and scoring one.

Lansing Lugnuts 1, Bowling Green Hot Rods (TB) 7

The low-A Lansing Lugnuts gave up four runs in the first inning and never recovered as they lost 7-1 to the Bowling Green Hot Rods.

The Lugs had just five hits including a triple and RBI from Nick Podkul, and singles from Reggie Pruitt, L.J. Talley (playing second base and going 1/3), D.J. Neal (1/3) and Luis De Los Santos (1/3, R).

Josh Hiatt started, going four innings and giving up five runs on five hits and three walks with two strikeouts. Joey Pulido surrendered a run on three hits in one inning while Troy Watson allowed a run on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts in teh final four innings.

Vancouver Canadians 3, Spokane Indians (TEX) 1

The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians played a much cleaner game as their pitching dominated in their second game of the year, defeating the Spokane Indians 3-1.

Grant Townsend got the start for the Cs and allowed just a run on one hit with three walks and six strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings before handing it off to Luke Gillingham, the US Naval Academy grad who threw his first professional pitches since 2016. Gillingham struck out three of the four batters he faced, retiring all four. Grayson Huffman also returned after time off, recovering from Tommy John surgery to throw 1 2/3 innings of hitless ball, walking two and striking out four before turning it over to Gage Burland, allowing two hits and striking out five in 2 1/3 innings. Josh Almonte got the save, walking one and striking out one (to give the Vancouver pitchers 19 strikeouts in the game) in the ninth.

Yorman Rodriguez had a big game with the bat, going 4/4 with two doubles and four runs. Catcher Brett Wright went 2/4 with a double and an RBI while Adrian Ramos drove in another run, going 0/4 but driving in a run and scoring one. Both Cameron Eden and Will Robertson were each 1/4.

DSL Blue Jays 5, DSL Padres 9

The DSL Blue Jays lost, dropping their record to 4-9 as they hosted the DSL Padres in a 9-5 loss.

Amell Brazoban had two of the club's six hits, going 2/4 with an RBI and a run, stealing a base. Emmanuel Sanchez was 1/3 with an RBI and a run and a stolen base and Francisco Fajardo was 1/4 with a double and a run, stealing two bases. Junior Ramos was 1/4 with a double and two RBI and Gustavo Ruiz was 1/4 with a double and a run.

Bejardi Meza started, giving up three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks in only one inning. Edgar Castro tossed four innings, allowing a pair of runs on three hits and a walk with five strikeouts. Gerardo Santana allowed an unearned run on a walk in 1 1/3 innings and Winder Garcia gave up three runs on two htis and two walks in one inning. Jose Quintana finished it off, without allowing a run of his own (he allowed one of two inherited runners to score), walking three and allowing a hit with one strikeout.
