Despite the triple-A Buffalo Bisons getting snowed out again, the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league squads played four games, splitting them while three of the Blue Jays' "legacy" players hit home runs.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Hartford Yard Goats 2

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats made it a clean sweep, holding the Hartford Yard Goats to just two runs on five hits while seeing the first double-A home runs from two young Fisher Cats in a 4-2 win.

Sean Reid-Foley was dominant on the mound giving up just one hit and striking out seven with three walks in six innings keeping the Yard Goats off the board. Dusty Isaacs gave up two runs on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts over 1 2/3 innings with Andrew Case (Saint John, N.B.) saving the game, allowing just a hit in 1 1/3 innings.

Bo Bichette (2-for-4) and Lourdes Gurriel (2-for-4, SB) had two hits each but it was Cavan Biggio and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who had the big blasts with Biggio going 1-for-3 with two RBI and a walk while Guerrero was 1-for-4 with one RBI. Connor Panas (Toronto, Ont.) was 1-for-4 with a double and Juan Kelly was 1-for-3 with the club's other RBI.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Clearwater Threshers 3

The Dunedin Blue Jays (3-1) pulled out a win thanks to a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth as they defeated the Clearwater Threshers 4-3 on Sunday.

Nash Knight led off the sixth with his second home run of the year and added a double and a walk. Ivan Castillo hit a double and a single, going 2-for-4 with two runs and a stolen base and D.J. Davis was 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run. Joshua Palacios raised his average to .533 with three hits including a double, a stolen base and two RBI.

Josh DeGraaf started, giving up three runs in the first inning but held the line from there on over six innings, allowing five hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Travis Bergen tossed two scoreless innings, striking out three and Kirby Snead picked up the save with a perfect ninth, striking out one.

Lansing Lugnuts 6, Great Lakes Loons 11

In Game 1 of a doubleheader, the Lansing Lugnuts dropped their opener and took their first loss of the year, 11-6 at the hands of the Great Lakes Loons.

The Loons got to Graham Spraker for two runs on three hits and a walk though he struck out three batters over 2 2/3 innings. Orlando Pascual tossed 1 1/3 innings, striking out two but giving up an unearned run on a hit and a walk. Brody Rodning gave up five runs in 1/3 of an inning and Kyle Weatherly was charged with three more runs on three hits and three walks in 2 2/3 innings with two strikeouts.

Ryan Noda took a pair of walks and hit a double, scoring once and stealing a base while Kevin Smith drove in two runs, going 1-for-3 with a walk. Cullen Large hit a double and Chavez Young hit a triple and Ridge Smith was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

Lansing Lugnuts 2, Great Lakes Loons 5

The Lugnuts didn't fare much in the closing game of the doubleheader with the Great Lakes Loons, falling 5-2 to lose both ends of the twin bill.

The Lugnuts got both of their runs on a two-run home run by Kacy Clemens who was 1-for-2 with a walk and Samad Taylor had the only other hit.

Turner Larkins pitched four innings, giving up five runs (three earned) on seven hits (including two home runs) and three walks with four strikeouts. Andy Ravel threw two scoreless frames and Ty Tice finished it with a perfect seventh, striking out one.
