The Juniors lost the first road game of the Extended Spring Training Camp 3-1 against the New York Yankees EXT squad.

The Canadians were held scoreless until the last inning as pitcher Geoffrey D’Amato (Milton, Ont.) traded in the maple leaf to pitch against his mates for the pinstripes in this game. The left-hander cruised through four innings, permitting only a pair of hits, and striking out six Juniors.
