College Wrap for June 3-9

The week started with five Canadians playing in NCAA playoff tournaments.

Eric Lindsay (Cambridge, Ont.) with Central Mo represented Canada in the NCAA D2 Championships in Cary, N.C. where they finished third.

Four Canadians represented Canada in the NCAA D1 Super Regionals where teams are playing to earn a ticket the to the 8-team NCAA D1 College World Series.

On the winning side of the coin:

*Of special note, Julien had an outstanding series recording 1 home run, four singles, two walks and six RBI in 14 plate appearances.

On the losing side of the coin:

Max Hewitt (Midhurst, Ont.) and Oklahoma St. lost the rubber game against Texas Tech in the Lubbock Super Regional.

The NCAA D1 College World Series takes place June 15-26 in Omaha, Nebraska.
