Brother Aaron Duffy (2-2, 9.00 in 11 games, 32 strikeouts in 31 innings) is also a member of the Griffs ... The most influential people in my baseball life: “My Dad definitely. He taught both my brother and I how to play. He taught us all the basics of pitching and was able to really show us his love for baseball. He always wanted to work with us growing up. Whether it be going to the local park to flip us front toss or showing us mechanical videos on the computer of Roger Clemens or Roy Halladay. I have been trying to follow in his footsteps for many years, trying make it to pro ball like him. Seeing it come to fruition is a very wholesome feeling for the both of us.”

The most influential person in my baseball career, besides my parents: “I have two answers, the first is coach (Matt) Mazurek. He has put his belief in me for the last three years to go out and be myself on the mound. Whether it be facing a 35-2 Fairfield team in the playoffs or coming off short rest in the playoffs this past year, coach Maz has always installed the utmost confidence in me to go out and do my thing. The second is the entire GLC program led by Chris Robinson who played a big role in aiming my focus more towards pitching. I was a two-way throughout high school but the coaches at GLC knew that If I wanted to make it to the next level, it would be with my arm.”

Best moment on the ball field to date: “Winning the MAAC championship (2022). There is no better feeling than going out and winning a championship with some of your best friends. The amount of hours you put in over the course of the year is even more worth it with hardware to show for it.”

2023 summer with Bourne Braves: Was 0-0 with a 1.88 ERA in three starts. He walked four and struck out 16 in 14 1/3 innings on the Cape.

2023 season as a junior at Canisius _ Finished 6-3 with a 4.13 ERA in 14 starts holding opponents to a .213 average. He walked 28 and struck out 119 in 80 2/3 innings ... Had a no decision against Manhattan in the opener of the Metro Atlantic conference opener pitching four innings, giving up three runs on five hits to go with six strikeouts and four walks … Took the loss against Marist Red Foxes pitching five innings and giving up three runs on seven hits and a walk.
