Cummins shows well at PG Sunshine Southeast

SS Ethan Cummins made an impression at the second annual Perfect Game USA Sunshine Southeast & National Academic Showcase in Emerson, Ga.

Evaluators ranked Cummins (Mississauga, Ont.) 17th on the 22 players ranked on the Rawlings top Prospect list.
 
The Ontario Blue Jays shortstop ran a 7.26 60-yard dash and ranked amongst the top 10 in infield velocity.

C Spencer Vanderstarren (Mississauga, Ont.) also of the Ontario Blue Jays attended the academic showcase. Vanderstarren had a 2.16 pop time, his velocity was 73 MPH and he ran a 7.44 60.
