The Junior National Team lost their final game of their extended spring training camp 8-3 to the Toronto Blue Jays minor leaguers in Dunedin.

2B Tommy Hanger (Toronto, Ont.) and CF Eric Hartman (St. Albert, Alta.) collected the only two hits for the Canadians, both extra-base hits. Hanger finished 1-for-2 with a run scored while Hartman drove in a run in his 1-for-4 performance.

LHP Reid Clague (Victoria, BC) started for the Juniors and allowed a run on two hits while fanning five Blue Jays to start the game.

The Blue Jays pulled away scoring runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings.

RHP Adyn Schell (Toronto, Ont.) came out of the bullpen in the final inning and put up a zero to end the extended spring camp.

RF Sam Shaw (Victoria, BC) had a pair of hits for the Blue Jays.

The Juniors finish the camp with two wins and two ties against pro competition. They will be back in action on May 13 at the Dominican Professional Academy Camp.
