Introduced on draft day: As “Chicken Palmegiani” on the conference call by a veteran Jays scout, then the guy looking for a spot at Second City’s amateur night boxed saying Vauxhall properly. 

Most influential person in my baseball life is my dad (also named Damiano Palmegiani): “He never lets me get down on myself but at the same time has never let anything get to my head. Thanks to him I’m level headed and determined.

Parents past athletic accomplishments: Mom, Liliana, played volleyball in high school is now a heck of a scorekeeper, dad played baseball growing up in Venezuela but when he graduated high school he went into university he decided to play soccer for the school along with basketball.

2018 season with the Canadian  Junior National Team: Dominican trip ... Belted two-run homer in the fourth for his second homer in as many days against the Twins ... Homered against the DSL Mariners. 

2017 season: Attended past August Area Code Games at Blair Field in Long Beach, Calif., with five other Canucks including Noah Naylor (Mississauga, Ont.)
