Scouting Report
Baseball America
“Moutzouridis is a slick-gloved shortstop with a 6-foot, 190-pound frame. He spent two seasons with California, where he hit .284/.360/.413, and then transferred to Arizona State for the 2026 season. Moutzouridis has limited impact as a hitter, but he does make plenty of contact—especially against fastballs—and can hold his own in the box. His value is primarily based on his defensive work at shortstop, where he stands out as a plus defender with smooth actions and a strong arm. He’s unlikely to move off the position and could profile as a defensive-oriented back-of-the-lineup regular.”
