“Comeau is a projectable young slugger with ingredients to hit and a body to dream on at 6-foot-4, 180 pounds. He’s one of the youngest hitters in the class and will still be 17 years old on draft day. Comeau stands out for his present hitting ability and uses a fluid, low-effort lefthanded swing with great rhythm and solid bat speed. He has hit nearly everywhere he’s been, including a 6-for-10 showing at the 2025 Area Code Games with a pair of doubles. He has a solid understanding of the strike zone and makes good swing decisions, with more contact ability than most young, long-levered hitters. Comeau uses the entire field well and mostly hits hard line drives to the gaps, but it’s easy to dream of plus or better raw power in the future as he fills out his frame. He has the offensive traits to become an above-average pure hitter with at least solid in-game power depending on how he develops. Comeau is a shortstop now but is unlikely to stick at the position given his size and average speed, though some scouts have been impressed by his defensive progress. He has an above-average arm and might fit best at third base, with an outfield corner being a possibility as well. Comeau is a Texas A&M commit, but his offensive profile is an easy fit in the first three rounds.”
