There are two players from Prince Edward Island on our 2019 Canadians in College list.

Next year there will be another ... as Ethan Francis has committed to attend the Colby College Trojans.

RHP Francis (Miscouche, PEI) is with the Okotoks Dawgs. He earned All Tournament honours when the Dawgs attended the 2017 Perfect Game High School Showdown-Academies at LakePoint Sports Complex in Cartersville, GA. He pitched in two games working two scoreless innings. He allowed three hits, while fanning three.

Francis also pitched at the 2016 WWBA Underclass World championship at Lee County Player Development Complex in Fort Myers Fla. with the Pony Express, the 14U PG East Cobb invitational at Cartersville in 2016.

C Cole MacLaren (Morell, PEI) is with the Pittsburgh Panthers and 1B-RHP Josh Meyers (Miscouche, PEI) is with the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves.

MacLaren, an Okotoks Dawgs grad is hitting .258 with six doubles, a homer and 12 RBIs. He owns a .735 OPS in 37 games.

Meyers is batting .342 with 10 doubles, a triple, two homers and 21 RBIs. He has a 1.079 OPS in 26 games. On the mound, Meyers is 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA in three games walking four and striking out 15 in 10 2/3 innings.
