The Toronto Blue Jays have activated RHP Wilmer Font from the 10-day injured list, while also adding RHP T. J. Zeuch ahead of Thursday's game in the Bronx.

In a pair of corresponding moves, RHP Jacob Waguespack has been placed on the 10-day IL with a left-back strain, and RHP Hector Perez was optioned to the club's alternate training site.

Through 17 games with Toronto prior to landing on the IL with a left-shin contusion on September 7, Font has allowed 13 earned runs on 22 hits spread out across 13 1/3 innings. Through his 17 appearances in 2020, the 6-foot-4 product of La Guardia, Ven., has walked four and struck out 14.

Zeuch, 25, made five appearances in his rookie campaign with the Blue Jays last year, posting a WHIP of 1.456 while allowing 12 earned runs across 22 2/3 innings. A first-round draft pick in 2016, the 6-foot-5" sinker-baller owns a cumulative ERA of 3.52 over 66 minor league contests.

One night removed from making his MLB debut in Toronto's 13-2 loss to the New York Yankees on Wednesday, Perez rejoins the minors having allowed a pair of runs while walking three and striking out one batter over his 1 2/3 innings in the Show.

Through 11 games with Toronto in 2020, Waguespack has surrendered 16 earned runs on 22 hits, good for an ERA of 8.15 to go along with a WHIP of 2.038 over 17 2/3 frames.
