The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms with RHP Michael Lorenzen on a one-year contract.

Lorenzen has reported to the team and will be active for tonight’s game.

Lorenzen, 34, made 25 starts (26 appearances) for the Colorado Rockies this season, posting a 7.08 ERA over 115 2/3 innings pitched.

The right-hander from Anaheim, Calif., was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the Competitive Balance Round A of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft out of Cal State Fullerton, making his MLB debut for the club in 2015. Over 12 MLB seasons with the Reds, Angels, Tigers, Phillies, Rangers, Royals, and Rockies, he has made 421 appearances (144 starts), recording a 4.40 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 908 strikeouts over 1,111 2/3 career innings pitched, earning an All-Star nod with Detroit in 2023.

Additionally, RHP Chad Dallas has been optioned to triple-A Buffalo and OF Jonatan Clase has been transferred to the 60-day injured list.
