The Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) is excited to announce Charles Bolden as a featured speaker for the 2027 OBA Best Ever Coaches Clinic, taking place January 15–17, 2027.

One of the game's rising leaders in player development, Bolden brings an impressive resume spanning collegiate baseball, professional baseball and USA Baseball. He currently serves as an assistant coach with Team Red at USA Baseball's prestigious 16U/17U National Team Development Program (NTDP), where he helps identify and develop many of the top young players in the United States.

Most recently, Bolden was the recruiting coordinator and baserunning coordinator at Georgetown University, following a successful stint in the Baltimore Orioles organization as a minor league fundamentals coach. His expertise in baserunning, outfield play, recruiting and athlete development has made him one of the sport's most respected young instructors.

"Charles has quickly established himself as one of the brightest coaching minds in baseball," said the Ontario Baseball Association. "His experience at the NCAA, professional and national team levels will provide tremendous value to coaches across Ontario."

Bolden's coaching career also includes serving as head coach at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, along with collegiate coaching roles at Illinois Tech and Chicago State University. He additionally founded the Midwest Havoc travel baseball organization, helping more than 30 athletes advance to collegiate baseball.

The 2027 OBA Best Ever Coaches Clinic will feature an outstanding lineup of speakers from across amateur and professional baseball, with additional presenters to be announced in the coming weeks.
