OF  Raphael Gladu (Trois Rivieres, Que.) who had the longest hitting streak of Canadian hitters  this season -- 23 games sat class-A Columbia -- was activated with the class-A St. Lucie Mets.

LHP Rob Zastryzny, Edmonton, AB - Called up to big league roster by Chicago Cubs from Triple A Iowa Cubs, and was designated for assignment. Cleared waivers and was optioned back to Iowa.
