A summary of the transactions involving Canadians from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31.

Major Leagues/ Affiliated Minor Leagues

INF Tyler Black (Stouffville, Ont.) was recalled by the Milwaukee Brewers from the triple-A Nashville Sounds (July 20). He was sent back down to the Sounds on July 26.

RHP Tyler Boudreau (Sylvan Lake, Alta.) was signed by the New York Yankees as an undrafted free agent (July 16).

LHP Mitch Bratt (Newmarket, Ont.) was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks by the Texas Rangers (July 31). He has been assigned to the double-A Amarillo Sod Poodles.

RHP Micah Bucknam (Abbotsford, B.C.) was signed by the Toronto Blue Jays (July 18).

RHP Tyrelle Chadwick (Kamloops, B.C.) was signed by the Colorado Rockies and assigned to the ACL Rockies (July 23).

LHP Reid Clague (Victoria, B.C.) was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Reds (July 22).

C Connor Caskenette (Duncan, B.C.) was assigned to the Miami Marlins’ double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos from the High-A Beloit Sky Carp (July 29).

INF Trei Cruz (Toronto, Ont.) was assigned to the Detroit Tigers’ triple-A Toledo Mud Hens from the double-A Erie Seawolves (July 7).

LHP Hayden Cuthbertson (Ladner, B.C.) was signed by the Miami Marlins (July 23). He was assigned to the FCL Marlins on July 24.

OF Charles Davalan (St-Bruno-De-Montarville, Que.) was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers and assigned to the ACL Dodgers (July 23).

C Nicolas Deschamps (Quebec, Que.) was assigned to the Toronto Blue Jays’ double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats from the High-A Vancouver Canadians (July 29).

INF Ty Doucette (Dartmouth, N.S.) was signed by the Cincinnati Reds (July 21).

RHP Blake Gillespie (Arva, Ont.) was assigned to the New York Yankees’ FCL Yankees (July 16).

INF/OF Eric Hartman (St. Albert, Alta.) was activated from the seven-day injured list by the Atlanta Braves’ class-A Augusta GreenJackets (July 1).

RHP Ryan Heppner (Richmond, B.C.) was signed by the Atlanta Braves on July 22 and assigned to the FCL Braves on July 23.

RHP L.P. Langevin (Quebec, Que.) was sent on a rehab assignment to the Kansas City Royals’ ACL Royals by the Class-A Columbia Fireflies (July 1). He was activated from the 60-day injured list by the Fireflies on July 15 and assigned to the High-A Quad Cities River Bandits.

OF Jordan Nwogu (Ottawa, Ont.) was transferred to the Development List by the Chicago Cubs’ double-A Knoxville Smokies (July 17). He was activated by the Smokies on July 26.

LHP Connor O’Halloran (Mississauga, Ont.) was placed on the full-season injured list by the Toronto Blue Jays’ Vancouver Canadians (July 31).

OF Tyler O’Neill (Maple Ridge, B.C.) was sent on a rehab assignment to the Baltimore Orioles’ triple-A Norfolk Tides (July 1). He was activated by the Orioles on July 4.

INF Damiano Palmegiani (Surrey, B.C.) was assigned to the Toronto Blue Jays’ class-A Dunedin Blue Jays from the triple-A Buffalo Bisons (July 22). He was transferred to the Development List by the Dunedin Blue Jays on July 29.

INF T.J. Schofield-Sam (Mississauga, Ont.) was assigned to the Athletics’ double-A Midland Rockhounds from the High-A Lansing Lugnuts (July 1). He was assigned to the High-A Lansing Lugnuts from the double-A Midland Rockhounds on July 17.

OF Sam Shaw (Victoria, B.C.) was assigned to the Toronto Blue Jays’ High-A Vancouver Canadians from the class-A Dunedin Blue Jays (July 18).

RHP Michael Soroka (Calgary, Alta.) was traded to the Chicago Cubs by the Washington Nationals (July 31).

RHP Lucas Wepf (Toronto, Ont.) was transferred to the 60-day injured list from the seven-day injured list by the Los Angeles Dodgers’ double-A Tulsa Drillers (July 8).

INF Sam White (Newmarket, Ont.) was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Toronto Blue Jays (July 18). He was assigned to the FCL Blue Jays (July 24).

INF/OF Jared Young (Prince George, B.C.) was recalled from the triple-A Syracuse Mets by the New York Mets (July 11). The New York Mets optioned him back to triple-A Syracuse on July 22.

LHP Rob Zastryzny (Edmonton, Alta.) was sent on a rehab assignment to the triple-A Nashville Sounds by the Milwaukee Brewers (July 22).

RHP Landen Bourassa (Lethbridge, Alta.) was placed on the inactive list by the Winnipeg Goldeyes on July 31 (retroactive to June 29).

RHP James Bradwell (North Vancouver, B.C.) was signed by the Winnipeg Goldeyes on July 8.

RHP Trevor Brigden (North York, Ont.) had his contract transferred to León (Mexican League) by the Winnipeg Goldeyes on July 6. He was re-signed by the Goldeyes on July 18. He was placed on the injured list by the Goldeyes on July 30 (retroactive to July 21).

RHP Landon Leach (Toronto, Ont.) was released by the Winnipeg Goldeyes on July 15.

C Ryan Leitch (Whitby, Ont.) was activated from the injured list by Kansas City Monarch on July 26.
