Official Barrie Baycats News Release

Barrie, Ont. — The Barrie Baycats have announced the return of infielder Noah Hull for the 2026 Canadian Baseball League season.

Hull, a native of Scarborough, Ont., played his collegiate baseball at the University of Mary, where he established himself as one of the most accomplished hitters in program history. He was also a member of the Junior National Team earlier in his career.

During his final season at the University of Mary in 2025, Hull appeared in 50 games and started 49, batting .314 with 16 doubles, three triples, and five home runs. He drove in 40 runs and scored 46 times, while setting school records for both career hits (206) and career runs batted in (153).

That season followed up a standout 2024 campaign in which he started all 51 games he appeared in, hitting .320 with 11 doubles and 13 home runs. He drove in 40 runs, scored 41 times, won the NSIC Gold Glove at first base, and was named to the All-NSIC Second Team.

Prior to transferring to the University of Mary, Hull played at Iowa Western Community College. In 2021, he appeared in 33 games, hitting .333 with four doubles, one triple, two home runs, and 21 RBIs. He also saw action during the shortened 2020 season.

Hull joined the Baycats ahead of the 2024 season, appearing in 24 games in his first year with the club. His best season in Barrie came in 2025, when he hit five home runs and drove in 17 runs.

With the Baycats set to open up their 2026 Canadian Baseball League campaign on May 14, Hull is about to enter his first season of professional baseball.
