HAMILTON, ONT. – The Hamilton Cardinals are excited to announce the re-signing of left-handed pitcher Jacob Gajic for the 2026 season.

A native of Hamilton, Ont., Gajic is a graduate of Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School. He committed to Northwest Missouri State University, an NCAA Division II program competing in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). Across three collegiate seasons with the Bearcats from 2022 to 2024, Gajic appeared exclusively out of the bullpen, posting a 4.00 ERA over 139 1/3 innings while recording 17 saves.

In 2025, Gajic transferred to Minnesota State University, an NCAA Division II program competing in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). He posted a 2.60 ERA and a perfect 3-0 record across 27 2/3 innings. Gajic earned All-NSIC Second Team honours and helped the Mavericks win a conference championship.

Now entering his fifth season with the Cardinals, Gajic owns a career 4.40 ERA across 64 1/3 innings pitched with 70 strikeouts. In 2025, he posted a 3.97 ERA over 11 1/3 innings.
