Official London Majors News Release

The London Majors are pleased to announce the re-signing of outfielder Tucker Zdunich for the 2026 Canadian Baseball League season.

Zdunich, 25, joined the Majors ahead of the 2025 campaign and quickly established himself as a key piece of the club’s lineup. In 31 games last season, the left-handed hitter posted a .316 batting average, collecting four home runs, six doubles, one triple, 22 RBIs, and 16 walks. His .402 on-base percentage ranked first on the Majors, highlighting his consistent ability to reach base and create offence.

A native of High River, Alta., Zdunich brings an accomplished collegiate resume to London. He played his college baseball at Reinhardt University (NAIA), where he smashed 50 career home runs in 167 games, compiling a .359 career batting average and an impressive .478 on-base percentage. During his senior season in 2024, Zdunich put together a standout year, posting a 1.139 OPS with 20 home runs, 69 RBIs, and a .352 average.

"Tucker is an important piece of our lineup and adds a lot of depth to our club,” said Majors Field Manager Roop Chanderdat. “He’s shown throughout his career that he can get on base at a very high rate, and that’s something we really value. We’re expecting a big season from him at the plate, and we’ll be looking for him to hit for power for us as well. He has all the tools to make a major impact.”
