CHATHAM-KENT, ONT. - The Canadian Baseball League (CBL) is excited to announce that the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers have been selected to host the 2026 CBL All-Star Weekend on July 11-12, 2026, at Fergie Jenkins Field.
“Chatham-Kent has been an extremely successful franchise since entering this League only two years ago, both on-field and off. The atmosphere at Fergie Jenkins Field on game day is vibrant, and it will undoubtedly be even more dynamic with the various events we have planned for All-Star Weekend," said CBL Commissioner Ted Kalnins.
Saturday's festivities will kick off with the full slate of skills competitions, highlighted by the always-electrifying Home Run Derby. The All-Star Game, featuring the best of the North vs. the South, as voted on by a combination of fans and media, will take place on Sunday, July 12.
Beyond the diamond, the celebration will extend into the community as Tweedsmuir Avenue will be closed to traffic all weekend, transforming into a family-friendly festival zone filled with activities, food, entertainment and opportunities for fans to connect with the sport they love.
The 2026 CBL All-Star Weekend promises to be an unforgettable weekend of competitions, community, and celebration. Further event details and special guests will be announced early in the 2026 season.
The Canadian Baseball League (CBL) is Canada's only fully professional baseball league, featuring former MLB, MiLB and elite NCAA talent. Now entering its 108th season, the CBL stands as one of the longest-running baseball leagues in the world.
