Dawgs beat Bulls for fourth straight win

The Okotoks Dawgs defeated the Lethbridge Bulls 14-6 on Sunday at Spitz Stadium.
The victory extended their winning streak to four games and improved their season record to 18-8. The Dawgs are now two games ahead of the Bulls atop the West Division standings.
Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) continued his hot hitting for the Dawgs, going 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in the top of the ninth. He also knocked in four.
Nash Crowell (Yarmouth, N.S.) added three hits and three RBIs.
On the mound, Cameron Williams (Bossier Parish Community College) got the start and allowed one unearned run on one hit, while striking out two.
Chase Tucker (Mount Pearl, Nfld.), Jaden Bahl (Bossier Parish University), and closer Alex Oliver (Colorado State University - Pueblo) had scoreless outings in relief for the Dawgs.
The Dawgs will face Lethbridge again on Monday before battling the Brooks Bombers at Seaman Stadium on Canada Day.
