The Okotoks Dawgs edged the Fort McMurray Giants 3-2 at Legacy Dodge Field on Saturday night.

The Dawgs jumped ahead with two runs in the third and added another in the eighth.

Offensively, Barry Eiseman (Reinhardt University) belted a two-run home run for the Dawgs.

Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) and Leo Cote (Boucherville, Que.) each chipped in with singles, while Connor Crowson (Okotoks, Alta.) added another hit to keep his average above .400.

On the mound, Anderson Tordiffe (Surrey, B.C.) delivered a solid start, allowing just two hits in five innings without permitting an earned run. He struck out six and walked none.

Alex Oliver (Colorado State University Pueblo) got the final five outs to record the save.
