Following a strong offensive start, the Okotoks Dawgs were unable to overcome the Moose Jaw Miller Express, losing 17-10 Saturday night in front of 5,750 fans at Seaman Stadium.

Offence wasn’t an issue for the Dawgs on this night.

Ayden Crouse went 3-for-5 with three doubles, four RBIs, a run, a stolen base and a walk.

Jacob Wrubleski (Okotoks, Alta.) and Nash Crowell (Yarmouth, N.S.) added to the attack with a home run apiece.

The Dawgs will aim to bounce back on Sunday when they face the Miller Express in a rematch at 2:05 p.m. at Seaman Stadium.
