The Okotoks Dawgs registered a 3-2 walk-off win over the Energy City Cactus Rats at Seaman Stadium on Saturday.

The Dawgs scored the winning run on a Kadyn Williams (Pittsburg State University) walk that scored Jake Skaggs (Pittsburg State University) in the bottom of the 10th inning.

The game was interrupted by a one-hour rain delay.

On the mound, Gavin Wuschke (Regina, Sask.) started and allowed just one run on four hits, while striking out four, in six innings.

Following the rain delay, Austin Eaton (Texas State University) took over and dominated, recording five strikeouts in three hitless, scoreless innings.

The Dawgs will battle the Cactus Rats again on Sunday afternoon for their Father’s Day Celebration at Seaman Stadium.
