Crowson hits for cycle, leads Dawgs to rout of Bulls

The Okotoks Dawgs routed the Lethbridge Bulls 24-2 on Thursday night at Spitz Stadium.

Dawgs slugger Connor Crowson (Okotoks, Alta.) hit for the cycle, going 4-for-4 with five runs, two walks and seven RBIs.

In total, the Dawgs accumulated 21 hits and registered nine walks.

On top of Crowson’s outstanding performance, Barry Eiseman (Reinhardt University) went 5-for-6 with two doubles while Eric Machej (Okotoks, Alta.) blasted a three-run home run and finished 3-for-5.

Jake Skaggs (Pittsburg State Univeristy) also added three hits - including two doubles.

On the mound, Austin Eaton (Texas State University) started and allowed just one run on three hits in six innings. He struck out four batters.

The Dawgs return home on Friday to face the Weyburn Beavers at 7:05 p.m.
