The Okotoks Dawgs beat the Fort McMurray Giants 16-4 at Legacy Dodge Field on Sunday.

The Dawgs piled up 19 hits en route to their West Division-leading 27th win.

Offensively, Barry Eiseman (Reinhardt University) led the way with five hits and four RBIs.

Zane Skansi (Campbellsville University) delivered a big blow with a three-run home run as part of a two-hit game while Jackson Fera (Linn-Benton Community College) went deep as well.

Connor Crowson (Okotoks, Alta.) also contributed two hits, three runs and an RBI for the Dawgs. He also contributed a scoreless ninth inning on the mound.

Crowson was one of five Dawgs pitchers in the contest. Nate Charlton (Okotoks, Alta.) was the most effective, providing two scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.
