The Okotoks Dawgs beat the Weyburn Beavers 12-2 at Seaman Stadium on Saturday night to complete a sweep of the series.

With the win, the Dawgs improved to 17-8 on the season and sit atop the West Division standings.

On Saturday, the Dawgs racked up 12 runs on 19 hits and drew seven walks.

Aden Munoz (Simpson University), Zane Skansi (Campellsville University) and Barry Eiseman (Reinhardt University) led the offence for the Dawgs, with four, five and four hits respectively. Skansi also knocked in four runs.

Logan Grant (Calgary, Alta.), who was making his 2025 debut with the Dawgs, went 2-for-4 with a run and a walk, while Brandon Paez (Montreal, Que.) added two hits and four RBIs.

On the mound, Seth Gurr (Coldale, Alta.) started and tossed six scoreless innings, registering two strikeouts.

Chase Tucker (Mount Pearl, Nfld.) and Cade Langford (Southwest Baptist University) also contributed scoreless innings in relief.

The Dawgs will now hit the road to face the Lethbridge Bulls on Sunday before returning home to battle the Brooks Bombers on Canada Day.
