Edmonton Little League a Green Cross for Safety Advocate Award semi finalist

Little League Alberta District 2 (Edmonton) has been named a semi finalist for the 2025 National Safety Council (NSC) Green Cross for Safety® Advocate Award. It was the first time any Canadian Little League district, or any youth sports organization in Canada, has received this distinction.

This recognition is typically reserved for Fortune 500 companies and global institutions. For a volunteer-led youth program to stand on this stage is a powerful reminder of what grassroots efforts can achieve.
