Elliott: Welcome Weston Isaac
By Bob Elliott
Canadian Baseball Network
Around the palatial offices of our Canadian Baseball Network, there is a cherrier atmosphere this month.
We have our first draft eligible player for the 2043 draft.
Weston Isaac has arrived.
Weston is the son of Kelly and Ryan Isaac, their first born. Ryan is the managing partner of the Canadian Baseball Network.
We have Weston’s weight at nine pounds, seven ounces. Yet, we are unsure if the world has another left-hander or a right-hander.
The most important part is that "Mom and baby are doing great."
The whole staff is awaiting the delivery of the cigars. (Chocolate for me please ... those ones former Blue Jays president Paul Beeston smokes give us headaches.) Have not had a real cigar since 1986.
Ryan is the man behind the scenes who solves all our problems with the Canadian Baseball Network site and along with Henry Wright looks after the advertising.
Congrats to Weston, Mom and Dad.
