Official Okotoks Dawgs News Release
More exciting expansion is underway at Seaman Stadium, home of the Western Canadian Baseball League’s Okotoks Dawgs.
The organization is investing in major upgrades to enhance the fan and player experience.
The next phase of expansion includes a brand-new seating section — Section 112 — set to open in time for the 2026 WCBL season. This addition will provide even more fans the chance to enjoy Dawgs baseball in one of the best atmospheres in the country, adding capacity and energy to Seaman Stadium’s already electric game-day experience.
Meanwhile, the Phase 2 expansion of the Duvernay Fieldhouse is nearing completion, with work expected to wrap up within the next month. The upgraded facility will feature five cages, a mind gym and the latest in baseball technologies for Dawgs Academy and college team athletes to develop. It’s another step forward in the Dawgs’ ongoing commitment to providing top-tier facilities for the next generation of players.
Fans can follow the progress of both projects on the Dawgs’ social media channels, where regular updates and behind-the-scenes photos will showcase the transformation. From the ballpark to the training grounds, the future is bright — and it’s being built right here in Okotoks.
