SIOUX CITY, IA – The Sioux City Explorers scored three runs in the seventh inning to rally past the Winnipeg Goldeyes 4-2 Sunday afternoon at Lewis & Clark Park.

Sioux City opened the scoring in the bottom of the third inning. Centre fielder Austin Davis singled to left and advanced to third on a throwing error during a steal attempt before left fielder Henry George doubled to centre to give the Explorers a 1-0 lead.

Winnipeg answered in the top half of the third when second baseman Adam Hall (London, Ont.) hit a solo home run to left field to tie the game 1-1.

The Goldeyes moved in front in the fifth. First baseman Ramón Bramasco drew a two-out walk and Hall followed with a single. Bramasco stole third before centre fielder Noah Marcelo blooped a single to second base to score him and give Winnipeg a 2-1 lead. It was Marcelo's 83rd run batted in of the season.

Sioux City rallied for three runs in the seventh. Third baseman Yorman Rodriguez was hit by a pitch and Davis followed with a bunt single, with a throwing error allowing the runners to advance to second and third. George then walked to load the bases.

Second baseman Zac Vooletich lifted a sacrifice fly to right field to score Rodriguez and tie the game 2-2. After George stole second, designated hitter Braulio Vásquez hit a sacrifice fly to centre that brought Davis home. First baseman Alberto Osuna followed with a single to centre that scored George and made it 4-2.
