Tyson Gomm is back with the Niagara Ironbacks, stepping into the role of field manager for the upcoming season.

He replaces Richard Griffin, who served as manager for the team’s first two Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League seasons.

Gomm served as an assistant coach with Ironbacks in 2026.

With three championships with the Canadian Baseball League’s (formerly Intercounty Baseball League) Welland Jackfish, an OUA Championship with Brock and experience with the Junior National Team, Gomm brings a wealth of baseball knowledge and championship experience to the dugout.

Before playing for the Jackfish, Gomm played for the College of Southern Idaho and Parkland College.

In 2019, he was named MVP of the Canadian Futures Showcase.
