Griffs' Carlin Dick among 13 Canucks on Metro Atlantic academics

POMONA, N.Y. – A total of 158 student-athletes were named to the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team, including 13 Canadians.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

With 23 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team, Canisius University led the MAAC, followed by Marist College with 21 selections. Fairfield University and Iona University each placed 17 student-athletes on the team, while Mount St. Mary’s University and Quinnipiac University had 16 players apiece make the lineup. Niagara University was next with 15 honorees, followed by Manhattan College (14), Rider University (9), Saint Peter’s University (5), and Siena College (5) to round out the All-Academic Team.
