IBL's Guelph Royals sign Andrew Case

Former Toronto Blue Jays prospect Andrew Case (Saint John, N.B.) has signed with the Intercounty Baseball League’s Guelph Royals.

The Guelph Royals are excited to announce the signing of former Toronto Blue Jays prospect Andrew Case.

Case, 32, returns to the Royals after originally pitching for the team in 2022.

In 2022, the Saint John, N.B., native recorded an ERA of 2.07 in 15 regular season appearences, striking out 19 batters in just 17 1/3 innings.

Prior to signing with Guelph in 2022, the right-hander spent six seasons in the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league system, reaching as high as triple-A in 2018.

From there, Case spent time in Mexico and in the independent Frontier League with the Quebec Capitales.
