WELLAND, Ont. - The Welland Jackfish have signed catcher Cole Cote.

Cote (Welland, Ont.) last suited up for Durham College’s baseball team where he registered a .567 batting average and .623 on-base percentage. Cote finished the season with 37 RBIs.

After an impressive season with the Durham Lords, Cote won the OCAA Player of the Year and was named to their OCAA First All-Star Team.

The Jackfish return to The Pond on Saturday, May 18 at 6:05 p.m. for their 2024 Home Opener.
