Blue Jays from Away

The Toronto Blue Jays' No. 2 prospect, Bo Bichette will be the draw in triple-A Buffalo this year as he'll pair with Cavan Biggio to provide some offensive fireworks down the QEW. The big question for the Bisons will be who will start games.

Starters

There are only two pitchers mentioned in their roster announcement article who project to start, unless Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) and David Paulino start the season in the rotation.

Shawn Morimando
Jacob Waguespack

Relievers

Jason Adam
Danny Barnes
Corey Copping
Conor Fisk
Dusty Isaacs
Zach Jackson
David Paulino
Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.)
Justin Shafer
Danny Young

The pitcher I was most surprised to see in the relief corps was Danny Young but he's definitely put in his time in double-A. Otherwise, I was also expecting to see Andrew Case (Saint John, N.B.) in triple-A but he's back to start the year in double-A New Hampshire.

Catchers

I predicted the catching corps for the Bisons right on, getting all three of Reese McGuire, Patrick Cantwell and Michael De La Cruz in my predictions.

Infielders

The core of the infield is star studded.

1B: Andy Burns
2B: Cavan Biggio
SS: Bo Bichette
3B: Eric Sogard
UTIL: Gunnar Heidt

Outfielders

The outfield was another area that I predicted (after reshuffling my players because of injuries and the trade of Dwight Smith Jr.). I had Anthony Alford, Roemon Fields, Jordan Patterson (newly acquired) and Andrew Guillotte on the Bisons.
