Marcus Stroman was supposed to pitch for the Fisher Cats but the game postponed due to rain.
Dunedin Blue Jays 9, St. Lucie Mets 5
The Blue Jays replayed (it appears) their suspended game from April 15 against the St. Lucie Mets, winning the first game of a doubleheader 9-5.
Joshua Palacios had himself a day, going 5-for-6 with a double, a home run, five RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Bradley Jones was 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run while Rodrigo Orozco was on base four times, going 1-for-2 with three walks and two runs. Eduard Pinto was 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run while Logan Warmoth walked twice. Alberto Mineo was 1-f0r-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs.
Tayler Saucedo picked up the win (retroactively, his first), going seven innings and allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits and a walk with five strikeouts. Ty Tice allowed a hit in an inning of work and Jackson McClelland surrendered a run on a hit and two walks with two strikeouts.

Dunedin Blue Jays 3, St. Lucie Mets 2
In the second game, the class-A Dunedin Blue Jays got a three-run home run from Joshua Palacios in the fifth inning to give them enough runs to defeat the St. Lucie Mets 3-2 in a seven-inning match. Palacios was 2-for-3 in the second game with his home run and three RBI while Kacy Clemens was 2-for-3 and Kevin Smith was 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base. Both Eduard Pinto and Rodrigo Orozco had singles and scored.
The bullpen handled this game with Connor Eller starting and logging three innings of one-run ball, allowing a hit and three walks with just a solo home run tallying. Juliandry Higuera gave up a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in three innings to get the win and William Ouellette got the save, allowing a run on two hits and a walk in the seventh.

Vancouver Canadians 0, Eugene Emeralds 2
Josh Winckowski had a strong start but ultimately took the loss as the Vancouver Canadians couldn't muster any offence in a 2-0 loss to the Eugene Emeralds. Winckowski went five innings, giving up two runs in the first inning, allowing three hits (including a solo home run in the first) without walking anyone and five strikeouts. Justin Watts went two innings, allowing a hit and a walk with three strikeouts and Denis Diaz finished it off, allowing a hit with a strikeout in his inning of work.
Fifth-round pick Christopher Bec got two hits including a double and Nick Podkul and Freddy Rodriguez each had a single.

Roster Notes: Grayson Huffman, Ronald Magdaniel, Tyler Olander and Elieser Medrano were assigned to Vancouver, all of them were placed on the DL.

GCL Blue Jays 12, GCL Pirates 4
Jordan Groshans, the Blue Jays' first-round draft pick in June, went yard for his first professional home run in his first game but it was catcher Gabriel Moreno who upstaged him as the GCL Blue Jays came out of the gate firing on all cylinders with a 12-4 win over the GCL Pirates. While Groshans was 2-for-5 with four RBI and two runs, Gabriel Moreno was 4-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI, a stolen base and four runs scored. Leonardo Jimenez, the DL, was 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs and Rafael Lantigua hit a double and drove in a run. Addison Barger got his first professional hit, going 1-for-5 with an RBI and Cal Stevenson, hitting in the leadoff spot and playing right field, was 1-for-3 with two walks, two runs and a stolen base.
Alejandro Melean started, throwing four innings and giving up two unearned runs on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Joey Pulido allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits in an inning, striking out two and Yunior Hinojosa allowed a hit and struck out one in his two innings. Nicolas Medina got the save, striking out one in two innings.

DSL Blue Jays 5, DSL D-backs1 2
The DSL Blue Jays racked up another win, beating the DSL D-backs1 squad by a 5-2 score on Monday. Adrian Hernandez had a strong start, going four innings and giving up just one hit and two walks leading to an unearned run with four strikeouts. Williams Moreno gave up two hits and a walk in 2 1/3 innings with three strikeouts in picking up the win and Jhoan Dominguez went 1 2/3 one-hit innings with a strikeout. Jeison Contreras allowed a run on two hits in the ninth, striking out two.
Rainer Nunez had two hits and an RBI while Miguel Hiraldo drove in two runs with a double in four at bats. Jhon Solarte and Jose Rivas each had a hit and a walk, scoring a run while Rivas drove in a run.
