The Toronto Blue Jays' minor league affiliates were 1-3 on the final day of the regular season in the minor leagues.

Buffalo Bisons 0, Syracuse Chiefs 2

In a typically low-scoring game to end the season, the triple-A Buffalo Bisons lost 2-0 to the Syracuse Chiefs, ending the season in a whimper of a game that ended in one hour and 55 minutes. Dalton Pompey (Mississauga, Ont.) was 1/3 with a walk while Vladimir Guerrero (Montreal, Que.) was 1/4 with a double and Richard Urena hit a single, accounting for all three of the Bisons' hits.

Shawn Morimando threw six solid innings, allowing two runs on six hits (including a home run) with four strikeouts. Jake Petricka allowed a hit and struck out one in the seventh and Justin Shafer gave up two hits and struck out two in the eighth.

Roster Notes: Gunnar Heidt was sent back to the double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Hartford Yard Goats 5

The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats allowed three home runs, losing their final game of the regular season by a 5-3 score to the Hartford Yard Goats. Josh DeGraaf tossed three innings, giving up three runs on six hits with two walks, striking out six before turning it over to Francisco Rios who allowed two runs on three hits with one strikeout in three innings. Jackson McClelland (1 IP, 1 BB), Danny Young (1 IP, 1 H) and Kirby Snead (1 IP, 2 K) each tossed a scoreless inning in relief.

Jon Berti was the offensive force he's been down the stretch, going 3/5 with a home run, two RBI and two stolen bases. Santiago Espinal was 1/1 with a double before coming out of the game for Joshua Palacios (promoted from Dunedin) who went 0/3 in his double-A debut. Bo Bichette was 1/4 with a triple and a run while Cavan Biggio was 1/4 with an RBI.

Roster Notes: Gunnar Heidt was sent back to New Hampshire from the Buffalo Bisons and Joshua Palacios joined the Fisher Cats with Eduard Pinto and Juan Kelly going on the DL.

Lansing Lugnuts 2, Lake County Captains 3

For their final game of the regular season, playing the Lake County Captains, the low-A Lansing Lugnuts only scored twice, on a pair of solo home runs, and lost 3-2. Samad Taylor was 1/5 with the solo home run and Brandon Grudzielanek was 1/4 with his solo blast. Vinny Capra hit a double and Ryan Gold was 1/3 with a double and a walk. Jesus Navarro was 1/3 with a walk, as was Chavez Young who stole his 44th base of the year.

Donnie Sellers allowed two runs on five hits and a walk in six innings, striking out four and Turner Larkins took the loss, giving up a run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout in two innings.

Vancouver Canadians 7, Spokane Indians 4

The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians finished off their season with a win as they beat the Spokane Indians 7-4. Brandon Polizzi fell short of a Nash Knight, playing second base, all three outfield positions and he pitched, going 1/5 with an RBI an offense. Hunter Steinmetz was 3/5 with two doubles and two runs, and Jesus Severino was 3/5 with a double and two RBI. Sterling Guzman was 2/4 with two runs and a walk and Yorman Rodriguez was 2/4 with an RBI and a run. Mc Gregory Contreras was 1/4 with a double, an RBI and a run.

The Canadians trotted out seven pitchers with Sean Wymer getting three innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits with five strikeouts to start things off. Joey Murray (2 IP, 3 K), Joey Pulido (1 IP, 1 K), and Denis Diaz (2/3 IP, 1 K) followed before Brandon Polizzi got his batter in the sun, retiring him with a pop out to the shortstop. Connor Law followed with a scoreless eighth, allowing a hit and Juan Nunez finished, giving up two unearned runs on a single hit (a home run) while striking out two in the ninth.
