Blue Jays from Away
With two teams out of action on Monday night, the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league clubs played to an even 3-3 record with Joe Biagini starting to stretch out in Buffalo.
Buffalo Bisons 0, Indianapolis Indians 4
The Buffalo Bisons had their season-high, five-game win streak snapped by the Indianapolis Indians who shut the Buffalo offence down, shutting them out 4-0. Joe Biagini made his first start with the Bisons, getting stretched out and allowed two runs on three hits over three innings with one strikeout. Chris Rowley took over for the final five innings, giving up two more runs on four hits and a walk with five strikeouts.
The Bisons had three hits including a double from Gregorio Petit and singles from Danny Jansen (who also took a walk) and Jon Berti.
Player of the Game: None
Roster Notes: Luis Santos was placed on the temporarily inactive list.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Dayton Tortugas 11
The Dunedin Blue Jays got beaten soundly by the Daytona Tortugas 11-5 on Monday. Tayler Saucedo started on the mound and allowed four runs on four hits and a walk in 2 2/3 innings. Daniel Lietz followed and allowed another three runs on two hits and two walks in 2/3 of an inning and Adonys Cardona gave up just one hit in his 1 2/3 innings. Geno Encina finished off the game, tossing three innings and giving up four runs on six hits (including two home runs).
Connor Panas (Toronto, Ont.) continues to swing a hot bat, going 3/4 with a home run and two RBI. Juan Kelly was 2/4 with an RBI and Chris Coghlan, rehabbing his injury, was 1/3 with an RBI. Bo Bichette was 1/5 with two runs and a stolen base but also committed an error. Cavan Biggio was 1/3 with a walk and a double but also committed an error.

Roster Notes: Chris Coghlan was sent to Dunedin on a rehab assignment.
Lansing Lugnuts 2, Dayton Dragons 3
The Lansing Lugnuts weren't able to generate much offence despite outhitting the Dayton Dragons in a 3-2 loss. Rodrigo Orozco was 2/4 with a walk and a run while Nash Knight drove in both Lansing runs, going 2/3. Javier Hernandez was 2/4.
Osman Gutierrez allowed all three runs, taking the loss, giving up seven hits and three walks with three strikeouts. Denis Diaz threw the last two innings, allowing a hit and two walks with one strikeout.

Vancouver Canadians 10, Hillsboro Hops 6
The Vancouver Canadians broke out with 14 hits to beat the Hillsboro Hops 10-6 on Monday. Brock Lundquist had three hits, going 3/5 with a double and a run. Matt Morgan had himself a day, going 2/5 with a double, a triple and an RBI, scoring twice while Norberto Obeso was 2/4 with a double, a home run and two RBI. Logan Warmoth was 2/5 with three RBI, a run and a stolen base and Kacy Clemens was 2/5 with a double and two RBI, scoring once. Brandon Polizzi was 1/3 with a walk, a stolen base, an RBI and three runs.
Nate Pearson had another scoreless outing, giving up two hits and striking out one in two innings. Brody Rodning took over, giving up five runs (just two earned) over 3 2/3 innings, allowing five hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Grayson Huffman tossed 1 1/3 innings, striking out one while Chris Hall gave up an unearned run on one hit in the eighth and Jake Fishman allowed a hit but nothing more in the ninth.

GCL Blue Jays 4, GCL Braves 1
The GCL Blue Jays beat the GCL Braves 4-1 to open up their week. Maverik Buffo threw five scoreless innings, giving up just two hits and striking out seven to earn the win. Emerson Jimenez struck out five batters in just two innings, giving up a hit. Anderson Nunez allowed an unearned run on a hit and a walk with one strikeout in the eighth and Connor Law got the save, just giving up a hit in the ninth.
The Jays had just seven hits, amassed by only three players. Otto Lopez was 3/4 with a triple and two runs while Dom Abbadessa was 2/3 with a double, an RBI and a run and Yhordegny Kelly was 2/4 with a double and a run.
Player of the Game: Maverik Buffo
DSL Blue Jays 3, DSL Padres 0
The DSL Blue Jays got some stellar pitching, shutting out the DSL Padres 3-0. Naswell Paulino went five innings, giving up only three hits with four strikeouts. Yohandy Martir tossed another two frames, allowing three hits and striking out two. Rafael Monsion struck out two of the three batters he faced and Yunior Hinojosa gave up two hits but still earned his 11th save and preserved the shutout in the ninth.
Rafael Lantigua was 2/3 with a walk, a double and a run while Yhon Perez hit a triple, driving in two runs and scoring one. Steward Berroa (0/2, R, SB) and Hector Guerrero (0/1) each walked twice.
