The Blue Jays' minor leaguers were 3-6 over nine games with the Jays' second round draft pick of 2019 making his professional debut for the GCL Blue Jays.

Buffalo Bisons 8, Charlotte Knights (CWS) 1

The triple-A Buffalo Bisons scored eight runs on seven home runs to beat the Charlotte Knights 8-1 on Tuesday.

Bo Bichette went deep to start the game, but that was his only hit as he went 1/4 with the solo shot. Socrates Brito (3/4, 2 RBI, 2 R), Rowdy Tellez (2/3, BB, 2 RBI, 3 R) and Jonathan Davis (2/4, 3 RBI, 2 R) each hit two more home runs and no one else had a hit or walk for the Bisons.

Thomas Pannone allowed one run on a solo home run while giving up just three hits and two walks with three strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings to pick up his third win in Buffalo. Zach Jackson allowed a hit and struck out two in 1 1/3 innings and Kirby Snead gave up a hit, striking out two in one inning of relief. Ty Tice pitched the ninth, walking one and striking out one.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Harrisburg Senators (WAS) 8

The double-A Harrisburg Senators scored six runs in the top of the eighth inning to break the tie and beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in extra innings, beating the 'Cats 8-3 in the first game of the double header.

Yennsy Diaz had a solid outing, giving up two runs on five hits (including a solo home run) with two walks and three strikeouts over six innings. Vinny Nittoli went 1-plus innings and was charged with six runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks, before Danny Young came on to finish the eighth, allowing two of the three inherited runners to score, giving up a hit in the eighth.

Brock Lundquist had two of the Fisher Cats' four hits, scoring a run while Forrest Wall and Logan Warmoth each had a single. Josh Palacios hit a sac fly to drive in a run.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2, Harrisburg Senators (WAS) 8

In the second half of the doubleheader, the Harrisburg Senators completed their sweep over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, beating the 'Cats 8-2.

Ryan Feierabend allowed six runs on 10 hits and two walks with three strikeouts over three innings and Brad Wilson allowed two more runs on three hits (including a home run) with a strikeout over two innings. Dany Jimenez struck out one in the sixth and Jackson McClelland had a 1-2-3 seventh to finish the game.

Joshua Palacios was 3/3 with a double and an RBI while Kevin Smith was 1/3 with his 15th home run of the year. Riley Adams was 1/1 with two walks and Santiago Espinal and Forrest Wall each had a single, with Wall scoring and getting an outfield assist. Logan Warmoth was 1/3.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Fort Myers Miracle (MIN) 5

The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays fell 5-4 in their first game of the double header with the Fort Myers Miracle.

Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) was 2/3 with a home run, one RBI and two runs while Ryan Noda was 1/3 with a home run and two RBI. Cullen Large was 1/3 and Chavez Young was 1/3. Samad Taylor was on base twice, going 1/2 with a walk and a run, stealing two bases and Norberto Obeso was 1/3 with an RBI.

Josh Winckowski went six innings, allowing five runs on eight hits (including two home runs) with a walk and five strikeouts to take the loss. Connor Law struck out two in a 1-2-3 seventh.

Dunedin Blue Jays 2, Fort Myers Miracle (MIN) 0

In the second game of the doubleheader, the Dunedin Blue Jays got a gem from Maximo Castillo who contributed to a 2-0 shutout of the Fort Myers Miracle.

Castillo tossed five scoreless innings, giving up five hits with two walks and eight strikeouts to get his seventh win. Emerson Jimenez allowed a walk and struck out one in the sixth and Jackson Rees got his first save, pitching a scoreless seventh, walking one and striking out one.

Cal Stevenson drove in both runs for the Jays, going 1/2 with a walk and two RBI, throwing out two runners at second base while Christopher Bec (1/3), Chavez Young (1/2, BB, SB), Kacy Clemens (1/2, R) and Samad Taylor (1/2, R, SB) had singles.

Lansing Lugnuts

Vancouver Canadians 3, Everett AquaSox (SEA) 5

The class-A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians couldn't maintain their momentum, falling 5-3 to the Everett AquaSox.

Yorman Rodriguez had another three hits, going 3/4 with an RBI while Brett Wright was 1/4 with a double and an RBI. Will Robertson (1/4, R), Jesus Lopez (1/4, RBI), Luis De Los Santos (1/4, R), Ronny Brito (1/3, BB, R) and Adrian Ramos (1/2, BB) each had a single.

Gabriel Ponce had a solid start, allowing just a run on three hits with three strikeouts over four innings and Randy Pondler took the loss, giving up four runs on six hits with two walks and a strikeout in 2 2/3 innings. Parker Caracci stranded both inherited runners, giving up a walk and striking out one in 1 1/3 innings and Mike Pascoe finished the game, striking out two and walking one in the ninth.

Bluefield Blue Jays 10, Pulaski Yankees (NYY) 1

The Bluefield Blue Jays (Rookie Ball) had a big offensive game, getting a couple of home runs and a strong start to beat the Pulaski Yankees 10-1.

Jol Concepcion had a stellar start, allowing just two hits and two walks with eighth strikeouts in six innings. Naswell Paulino came on to follow with three innings, allowing a solo home run among two hits with a walk and four strikeouts, earning the save.

Davis Schneider hit his third home run with the Bluefield Blue Jays, going 2/5 with three RBI and a run while Scotty Bradley was on base four times, going 3/4 with a double, a home run, a walk, with two runs and two RBI. Patrick Morris was on base four times, going 2/2 with two walks, an RBI and two runs. Leonardo Jimenez also had a pair of hits, going 2/4 with a walk, two RBI and a run and Andres Guerra was 0/3 with two walks and two runs. Steward Berroa also walked twice, going 0/0 with a run. Spencer Horwitz was 0/3 with two runs and Miguel Hiraldo was 0/5 with an RBI and a run.

GCL Blue Jays 4, GCL Tigers East 14

The GCL Blue Jays were beaten by the GCL Tigers East, falling 14-4.

The Jays managed to get 10 hits including two from Jose Rivas (2/3, RBI) and Gustavo Ruiz (2/3). Pedro Hurtado was 1/3 with a double and Yhon Perez was 1/3 with an RBI. Alberto Rodriguez, Justin Ammons and Hugo Cardona each had a single and so did Javier D'Orazio.

The Jays' second-round draft pick, Kendall Williams, made his pro debut, going one inning, allowing a run on a hit and a walk with a strikeout. Jackxarel Lebron, the Jays' 16th-round pick in 2019, also made his professional debut allowing six runs on four hits and a walk, hitting a batter and giving up a home run without retiring a batter. Warnel Valdez gave up another four runs without getting an out, allowing three hits (including a home run) with one walk before Adrian Hernandez pitched a scoreless inning. Alexis Carmona threw the final three innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with a walk and a strikeout.

Roster Notes: Juanfer Castro was promoted to the GCL from the DSL while Kendall Williams and Jackxarel Lebron were assigned to the GCL. Eliezer Bello and Emanuel Vizcaino were promoted to Bluefield.

DSL Blue Jays 3, DSL Padres 9

The DSL Blue Jays fell 9-3 to the DSL Padres as the Padres rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Daniel Oliva hit his first professional home run, going 2/3 with an RBI and a run, getting an outfield assist while Gustavo Gutierrez was 2/3 with a double, a walk, an RBI, a run and a stolen base. Gabriel Martinez was 1/4 with a double and Glenn Santiago was 1/4 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base. Leonel Callez had a single, going 1/4 with a run.

Soenni Martinez started, giving up the first two Padres runs, allowing four hits and a walk with five strikeouts over five innings. Francis Mercedes went the sixth, striking out one in the sixth and Joneivy Polonia allowed five runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks in 1 2/3 innings, while Andres Garcia gave up two runs on two hits (including a home run) in 1/3 of an inning.
