The double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats won the first game of the Eastern League Finals on Tuesday.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Akron RubberDucks 1

Without his best command, T.J. Zeuch fought through six innings to help the New Hampshire Fisher Cats keep the game close until they could score two runs in the top of the 10th inning and hold on to beat the Akron RubberDucks in Game 1 of the Eastern League Finals.

With the score tied at one in the top of the 10th, Max Pentecost walked and Joshua Palacios hit a sacrifice bunt to get him to second. He moved to third on Santiago Espinal's single and Andrew Guillotte pinch-ran for him. Espinal stole second, causing the RubberDucks to walk Gunnar Heidt intentionally and Forrest Wall drove in two with a single to give the Fisher Cats the lead.

Zeuch allowed a run on four hits and four walks through six innings, striking out four before Danny Young gave up two hits through 1 1/3 innings, striking out one. Dusty Isaacs walked one and gave up a hit in 1/3 of an inning, leaving two runners for Kirby Snead who was perfect in four batters, stranding both and striking out one in 1 1/3 innings. Travis Bergen came on to save it, striking out the first two in the bottom of the 10th and getting a fly out to center field to seal the victory.

Forrest Wall was 2/4 with a double and the two RBI while Harold Ramirez (1/4), Joshua Palacios (1/3, RBI) and Santiago Espinal (1/4, R) had a hit each.
